The Meduna river

To beat the sweltering heat of summer days, Meduno offers two ‘river beaches’, much appreciated by residents and non-residents alike, resulting from the same-named Meduna stream, which originates from the union of the Canal Grande and the Canal Piccolo in the locality of Selis, in the stunning setting of the Friulian Dolomites. It passes through Tramonti, Navarons, Meduno and descends until it reaches the vicinity of Meduna di Livenza, where it joins the Livenza river.

In the villages of Navarons and Paludana, there are two areas where there is little current and the waters of the river unfold into widenings where you can stop and enjoy the coolness and tranquillity.
