FLIGHT FESTIVAL 2026
THREE DAYS OF TERRITORY, SPORT AND SHARING
From 9 to 11 October, the Festival del Volo (Flight Festival) returns – an event that brings together Meduno, Sequals and Travesio for three days dedicated to free flight, sport, nature and the discovery of our local area.The programme is packed with activities for all ages and gets under way in Meduno itself on Friday 9 October at 8:00 PM, at Palazzo Colossis, with the official opening of the Festival and a concert by the Grandesso Duo, on accordion and saxophone.
On Saturday 10 the Festival stops off between Solimbergo di Sequals and Meduno, while on Sunday 11 October the stars of the day will be Monte Valinis and the Meduno area: activities for children and teenagers, tightrope walking, juggling, a rock-climbing gym, cycling routes, music, local stalls, a pumpkin-carving workshop and the chance to experience the thrill of a hot-air balloon ride.
The day will wrap up at 5:00 PM at the Bar-Gelateria Vanin with “Voli diVini”, a wine tasting featuring wines from some of the places associated with free flight.
The Festival is also an opportunity to tell the story of – and celebrate together – an area whose best-known and most-loved features include Monte Valinis and free flight, drawing enthusiasts and visitors from far and wide.
