Itinerary
From Forchia di Meduno (634 m asl) take the forest road that goes to the left and enters the valley floor, to the right leave first the mountain shelter Refugio Brigata Alpina Julia and then the Casera Giordani. When you reach Forchia Chiarandêit (677 m asl), after about 1.5 km, take the forest track to the left, which leads to Stavoli Cereis (911 m asl) after a wide loop on Mount Chiarandêit. From here, there is a wide panoramic view of the Silisia Valley and Lake Redona. Continue on the forest track and after having cleared the mountain, descend to Stavolo Del Bianco (912 m asl). Leaving the latter on the left, continue into the Mount Cereis plateau. At the next fork, turn left and after several ups and downs you will reach the magnificent mountain hut Malga De Stefano. Here you are treated to an incredible view of the Colvera Valley and Mount Raut in particular. Leaving the mountain hut and pastures on the left, continue along the descending road and at the fork, keep to the left until you reach Stávolo Quas (835 m asl). At the end of the road, entre the Del Crist path that branches off to the left. After having followed this path for a few metres, you will reach a panoramic terrace from which you can observe Navarons and the Meduna stream. Having reached Borgo Del Bianco (500 m asl), climb up the Troi dai Ciucui dai Plans to return to the starting point.
